In partnership with SPS Corporation, our team provide preconstruction services including schedule development, constructability and design reviews of the custom EFCO ballistic resistant curtain wall system, as well as constructed and participated in the testing of the performance mock-ups. Our site management team, provided early insights during skin team coordination meetings to ensure trade partner sequencing and quality checkpoints were established from the onset. For the logistics our operations team recognized that the utilization of mast climbers would be critical for the teams success with installing the 800lbs ballistic glazing from the exterior. The aluminum brise soleil by Levolux proved to fit seamlessly and provided a sense of elegance to the facility.

THE LINK AT BOJANGLES COLISEUM

To enhance the experience and use of the existing Ovens Auditorium and Bojangles Coliseum, the City of Charlotte selected ODELL Architect to design a connector building "linking" the two facilities as one. "The Link" added additional office space for Checkers and CRVA, a commercial kitchen, hospitality meeting room, amongst other support space. The LEED Silver contemporary design honors the preservation of the Historic Coliseum, while adding modern amenities and elements to enhance functionality.

Our Team in partnership with Carolina Classic Window and Glass, provided Turn Key solutions for the glazing scope on this project. We successfully managed the procurement, design, fabrication, and installation required to deliver this project on time and under budget. Oldcastle BE Reliance curtain wall, and multi-thermal strorefront was utilized on the exterior. Our in-house team designed the custom glass canopy using standard CRL point support fittings, in conjunction with custom SS fascias and a integral gutter system. The interior scope was comprised of Oldcaslte BE aluminum storefronts, entrances, and folding glass walls by NanaWall.
